Resort wedding packages are a fabulous way to get a lot of bang for your buck and secure the amenities you want for your destination wedding. All resorts offer wedding packages along with the perks of the all-inclusive package. These inclusions make a destination wedding convenient and a great way to save money.

Similarities

By and large, all wedding packages are pretty similar. You’ll find roughly the same package inclusions at each resort. That doesn’t mean that your wedding will be a cookie-cutter affair by any means though. Far from it! Most resorts allow you to customize your wedding package and pick and choose which elements you like.

Inclusions

Some preliminary inclusions are the officiant, ceremony venue, a wedding planner, chairs for your guests, a sound system, and sparkling wine to toast the happy couple. The packages build upon the basics from there. The next tier may include decor, the wedding cake, a reception dinner, an open bar, and the honeymoon package.

Cost

Wedding package costs don’t vary greatly from resort to resort. Many have the same inclusions at a similar price because they use the same vendors for flowers and decor.

Customization

For a fully customizable affair to remember, the best option is the complimentary wedding package. Build your wedding a la carte from there. This often saves money since you are including only the special touches that match your unique wedding vision.

What to Look for

Surprisingly, it’s not a wedding package at all! Choose the RESORT first and the wedding package after that. The wedding packages are similar so the resort will create the overall wedding experience you’re looking for.

Take into account what the resort can offer you and your wedding guests. Things like group benefits, room configurations, pool options, activity and nightlife, adults-only sections, and overall quality of food and service all contribute to the wedding experience. Once you have the resort chosen, take a look at wedding packages and bring your wedding vision to life.

We want your guests to talk about what a fabulous time they had at your wedding for years to come. Choosing the best resort is the first step to creating those lifelong memories with your loved ones.

How to Choose

Narrow down what is most important to you. How do you envision spending time with your guests at the resort? Are there any special considerations for your guests that you need to plan for, such as mobility issues?

Do you need adults-only or family-friendly? Is a swimmable beach necessary? Are your guests’ foodies? Do you want a larger resort with tons of activities or something small and intimate?

Once you have an idea of what is most important to you, reach out for some expert guidance. The truth is that not all resorts are a good fit for a wedding. I’ll help you choose the perfect all-inclusive resort for you and the experience you want to provide for your wedding guests.
