A destination wedding can be a big ask, and couples are often concerned about how their guests will receive the news. If you are anxious about sharing your plans for a destination wedding, keep reading for a few tips to help conquer your destination wedding attendance anxiety and provide an exceptional wedding that your guests will remember for a lifetime!

Cost for Guests

Making sure their wedding is cost-effective for their guest list is the number one concern I hear from my clients. Choosing the right resort is the key. We’ll work together to find the perfect resort that meets the price point you’re comfortable with and that’s the best match for your wedding vision. A quality wedding resort means your guests will talk about how much fun your wedding was for years to come. However, the last thing you want is to choose a budget hotel and have your guests remember your wedding for all the wrong reasons! The resort doesn’t need to break the bank to provide a quality experience for you AND your guests.

Vacation Days

One perk of a group room block is that everyone can choose the travel dates that work best for them. Some guests may stay a week. Others may only be able to stay three nights. They know how much time off they can commit to your wedding and not break the PTO bank. The important thing is that they are there to celebrate with you!

Child Care

If children are invited to your wedding, let your guests decide whether to bring them on the trip or not. Some parents might relish the excuse to leave the kids at home and enjoy some alone time. Or, they’ll bring the kids along and make a vacation out of the trip! The point is, don’t worry about the kids.

Many resorts accommodate and even cater to youngsters. If you’re planning an adults-only wedding celebration, most resorts have onsite kid’s clubs or childcare services for a reasonable price. An adults-only property is also an option.
