If you’re thinking about taking a much-needed vacation you’ll need to make sure that you’ve got all the essentials, and I’m not talking about a toothbrush and deodorant! I’m going to give you a quick rundown of an essential travel checklist that will help you plan for your vacation.
First and foremost on your checklist should be the rules and regulations for entering the country you are visiting. Many countries (but not all) are requiring negative COVID-19 testing for entry, and health and attestation forms. Even if not specifically required, we recommend getting a Covid test 3-5 days prior to your trip to ensure you are traveling safely and responsibly.
Any type of official documentation that allows you to travel is important enough to make a copy of, just in case. You’ll want to make sure that nothing prevents you from getting to your destination and interrupting your “me” time.
While there may be a few more things that pop up along the way, this list should cover everything you need to know about traveling in the COVID era. Familiarize yourself with it and if you have any questions, make sure to ask. You’ll want to clear up any travel-related questions that may leave you wondering if you’re all set.
Apart from COVID, there’s still plenty of things you need to remember before you’re on your way. While everyone has different items they need to plan for, here’s a generalized list that can help you get the ball rolling on packing.
Hopefully, this will serve as a starting point for everything you need to pack, but it’s not just what you pack, there are often logistics to arrange before leaving as well. Make sure you consider the following tasks before you depart.
Come up with your own list specific to your travel. This essential travel checklist provided here are only ideas meant to kick start the process. If you have questions about everything you might need on your tropical vacation, be sure to reach out to me here!
